We use it mostly for Pac-Man. It works better than any other options we could find, but seems to not always respond when you think you've moved it.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I purchased the Hori Fighting Stick to play Virtua Fighter 5 on the xbox 360. Found too much "free play" or "float" in the joystick. You have move the joystick until you hear the switches click. There are 4 discrete switches (left, right, top, bottom) so diagonals can be tricky to hit when doing complex combinations. I plan to modify the internal components with analog sensors.
