Dry cleaning vs. wet cleaning. When it comes to VCRs or cassette decks, there really is no comparison. Dry cleaning cloth tapes are more abrasive, but strangely do less to clean your system. They move the dirt around, but dont really remove it.

Wet cleaning dissolves dirt and dust and, when done correctly, lifts it all away. Thats how Allsop designed their VCR and Audiocassette cleaning systems to work. Ultreen cleaning solution is included with all those systems, but depending on how often you use them, you might run out. So theres this huge 2-oz. bottle available for refills. Ultreen is a non-toxic, alcohol-based solution.

You can also use Ultreen with our Fastwipes to make a Stridex pad for your CDs and DVDs.

    I use the product that I purchased to clean my cd/dvd player and reordered the cleaning solution when I ran out . . . it works great!

    Following instrutions I sent the newly moistened tape through the VCR. Immediately thereafter the system stopped working, ie. it could not record or playback. All I had was a screen of snow. And this is Florida!For what it was worth I decided to send a recorded tape through the regular play cycle. After a little over an hour the picture and sound returned. Apparently the tape cleaned off the offensive product (yours, sorry) and is now working as before.Well, you asked.[...]

    Glad I found this stuff online! My only beef is they quit making the replacement heads available. You have to get the whole cleaning tape thingy to get more head refills. Whats up wit dat?

    This product is something I've been trying to find for a while now. It's easy to go out and buy a CD cleaning set, but hard to find just the cleaning solution alone. This works perfectly for that task. The only complaint I have about it is that it comes in a dropper as opposed to a spray, but some people might even prefer it in dropper form. All in all, an excellent product!
