These organizers are used both for my CD and DVD collections. I can only find things when they're sorted and alphabetized. I can fill these 2/3 or less full, leaving room for additions without totally re-organizing any time there's something new.

We have 10 all over the house...1 holds picture CD's; 1 for the computer disks; 1 holds DVD's; 3 hold music I have recorded; 2 hold Christmas CD's; 1 holds music we listen to sleep by; 1 is holding blanks right now.

We use thin jewels so we get a lot of disks in each holder which is great. I found 2 first and then couldn't find them anymore, so was lucky to find them online. Was so happy I bought 8 at one time. I will be back for more....

I BOUGHT A DOZEN OF YOUR CD ORGANIZERS 12 YEARS AGO AND LOVED THEM.LAST SPRING I MOVED INTO A BIGGER OFFICE AND WANTED TO CONDENSE MORE OF MY AUDIO CD'S. THANK GOD I FOUND YOU ON THE WEB TO ORDER MORE AND OF COURSE THEY ARE PERFECT! AFTER 12 YEARS YOUR PRODUCT STILL HOLDS UP AS GOOD AS THE DAY I BOUGHT THEM. THE FACT THAT I CAN STACK THEM HAS REALLY SAVED ME ALOT OF SPACE WHICH CAN BE A PROBLEM BECAUSE UNLIKE MANY PEOPLE I LIKE TO SAVE THE CASE WITH THE LINER NOTES ON ALL MY CD'S.I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND YOUR PRODUCTS TO ANYONE WHO WANTS EASY ACCESS TO THEIR DISCS.

I had no previous experience with CDs or ways to store them. Looked at numerous products on line before deciding on yours. I am very happy with the product. One complaint. Rubber feet should be attached before shipping. I wasn't aware of them until I started to throw the box away and saw them in the bottom of box. Thought it was a piece of packing until I took a close look at it.

I originally bought this CD Organizer many many years ago since it was the only one that did not have slots and have housed my entire CD collection in them ever since. I am one of those people who likes to alphabetize his CDs, and this is the ONLY way to do it that makes any sense at all. The fact that I can move the CDs within the Organizer and create more room is what makes this product work for me. I can't stand the kind of organizers that make me move each individual CD up and out of its slot, to put it in the next one: insanely tedious and time wasting! This Allsop box makes it so easy and fast.Several years ago, I stocked up on them which was a good thing since I can no longer find them in any of the usual retail stores where I used to buy them. Thankfully, the [@] site exists, and I was able to buy six more recently. That should keep me going for a bit until I need more!THANKS!

Nice Product For The Compulsively Neat
By notoriousbhbVerified Reviewer from Issaquah, WA on 1/30/2007
Pros:
Versatile
Cons:
Poor stacking
Best Uses:
Home
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

For those of us who compulsively alphabetize our CD collections, this product can't be beat. The ability to slide CDs aside to open a spot in the middle of a row of CDs means you can insert that new Beck CD right before the Beethoven ones.

Sometimes the units don't fit together very well when stacking, though.

I am playing my CDs now because I can actually find them easily and put them back where they belong. and when I buy new ones,I will be able to easily fit them in with my old CDs without having to rearrange everything. I love this product.I'm going to check to see if they make them for DVDs.

Possible defect
By KevinVerified Reviewer from Toms River, NJ on 10/31/2006
Pros:
Attractive Design, Versatile
Cons:
Flimsy
Best Uses:
Small Rooms

The units themselves work great but I found on mine that the key holes in the back used to hang them on the wall were cut upside down. They still hang just fine on my wall though. I expected them to actually snap together but they don't really do that, they have slots to stack them but they don't snap together so they stay as one large moveable piece. They do seem a bit flimsy being made out of plastic but once fixed to the wall they are great.

Great design that allows for quickly storing all sizes of CD cases in manageable units that are stackable. Other storage solutions are much larger. This design allows me to organize the CDs within a bookcase or on shelves. Great for organizing CDs in smaller spaces

work great
By LaBougieVerified Reviewer from San Francisco Bay Area on 6/13/2006
Pros:
Attractive Design, Versatile

After a long search for versatile CD racks (for a closet shelf), I stumbled on these--and they are a perfect solution. The lack of slots makes it much easier to slip in new CDs without disrupting the way the collection is organized. The fact that the racks are stackable adds to their versatility. Plus, the price is right. I bought 10, and I'm ordering more.

Great way to organize
By Mike the Radio Consultant from Seattle, WA on 2/2/2006
Pros:
Durable, Large capacity
Best Uses:
In-home storage

For years I've tried several different methods of storing CD's. The slot system is cumbersome because if you add a CD you have to move everything! The Allsop CD Organizer solves this problem and gives you maximum storage in a smaller space. What good is having 200 CD's if you can't get to them? Now all of my CD's are together and alphabetized. I highly recommend this product.

I have bought this product again & again
By music lover from Des Moines Iowa on 1/31/2006
Pros:
Large capacity, Looks good, Portable
Cons:
needs a access hole for the screw
Best Uses:
Home decoration, In-home storage

I have storage for 600 CD's on the wall
in my living room above witch I built a
rack for my wife's precious moments. Looks great. One suggestion would be a
hole to be drilled so the screw could be
accessed to be started or tighten, I've done this on all mine. I know the hole is sloted for installation but it just doesn't work for me.

I wish they had greater capacity, and was fixed on both ends but I knew of these "lacks" when I purchased them.
