I mounted these speaker in the ceiling of my covered patio to add a musical touch outdoors by the pool. The installation method was very simple and easy to perform. I was surprised with the sound quality considering they were installed in a open, outdoors area. My friends can't believe the great sound these speakers put out for the reasonable price. This is the 7th set of BIC speakers I've installed in my home with one more set to go.

I ordered two pairs of the BIC America M60's. They will serve their duty as rear and rear center speakers for a 7.1 surround sound system in a good size living room (not in a designated home theater). I was looking for some low $ in - wall speakers, which would provide the fill-in sound in a surround sound configuration. Sound is actually good - better than expected. Installation was easy in those locations where the incl. frame could be utilized - unfortunately this was only possible in 1 out of 4 location. The frame of the speaker as well as the grill is paintable - while I had good success painting the speaker, I am not completely happy about the outcome of painting the grills - the mesh is very fine - paint tends to clog the small openings. I thing I would give spray-painting a chance the next time.
