Just like the original but you must charge it overnight the first time. My charger said it was done only after an hour but I did leave it in longer. Works fine and was so much cheaper.

I have had it a month or so as a back up to the battery that came with my Panasonic camera. As good as the original but for half the price. Don't think you can wrong on this one.
