This is a great basic GPS unit with lots of features. I liked the "Mark" and "Find" buttons for ease of use. This unit was a better deal over the basic eTrex since it came with the computer interface cable and the mapsource CD and has many more features over the eTrex. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is my second GPS, The first a Magellan Explorist 300 that left my wife and I lost for 2 1/2 hrs, and at least two hours on the phone with three different representives that had two digit IQ's and knew eleven words in English. Even if they do fix it, I would be ashamed to sell it to anyone.
The Garmin, on the other hand, is one heck of a unit: no matter the cost was so minimal. It is tough as nails, and dead on accurate! The inneraction of controls are a little complicated than the Magellan, but not enough to make mention of. I've checked it with my map program, and it is within two feet with the WASS turned off. It's a breeze to use with your PC and every map program recognizes it without fail. I will never own anything other than a Garmin again. This unit has more features than anybodywould ever use. All this, and a GREAT bunch of people to buy it from; how could you go wrong.
