Comments about Panasonic Panasonic Consumer Rql31 Portable Recorder - Vas:
As a budding noise musician, the ability to gather source audio wherever I may be is very important to me. The microphone jack in this unit allows me to, say, plug in my contact microphone, tape it to an industrial paper folder, and record a full 45 minutes with great quality and clarity. I've recorded over six hours of tape, played back twice as much, and I'm still not even halfway though my first set of batteries. The only drawback is that the construction does not feel particularly robust, and that when I take it out of my pocket, I find that the VAS and Recording Time switches have often been changed. It is, however, a great value for the price.
