I just started using it to record talks in a small place 50-80 people. Even though it picked up sounds around me I could here the talk clearly and I probably had it on the wrong setting for the circumstances. Sound quality is excellent, a lot better than others I have tried. I also like the sleek thin design instead of the usual bulky rectangular type, fits in a shirt pocket easily. It is great that you can download to a computer. The manual is easy to read and very explanatory to all details (100 pages in English alone.) The manual took up most of the packaging size! My only regret is that there was one with a larger size memory but I didn't see it till after my purchase.
