I have owned one of these Raindrop mouse pads since about 1994, and it still works fine! Unlike other mouse pads I have seen, this one has not come apart or worn out. It has actually outlasts my mice! When using a roller mouse, the ball very rarely needed cleaning. With an optical and now laser mouse, it simply provides a nice, smooth mousing service.

Although optical mice are "advertised" as not needing a mouse pad, they are too sensitive against most reflective or glossy desk finishes. This has been the only mouse pad I have found that works with Optical Mice, to provide accurate tracking, scrolling, etc. I was so satisfied with this that I have bought 3 additional pads for my other computers.
