After searching and looking at speaker after speaker sets I finally found one I liked. I wanted something that matched my PC and would look good with it. Many of the speakers I viewed were too tall or....weird looking! These were perfect. So I found the look I was after but what about the sound? After all, that is what it really comes down to. I have to honestly say that for my uses I find the sound quality clear, balanced, and more than I thought it would be from these small power house speakers. The hook-up was fool proof and only took a few minutes. I was rockin' and rollin' to my favorite tunes in no time! This is really a great set of speakers!

This baby ROCKS! [...] you get 30watts of subwoofer power plus 10watts each for the sattelites! That means 50Watts of pure RMS power house.
Not even Logitech offering can beat this baby at the same price level. Sound quality prooved to be top notch, comparable with creative offering Inspire T2900,T3000, which is at the same price level too. You get 2 way sattelite with creative which give you quite smooth mid...but creative offering didn't give you the thump you need with their sub (only 17watts).
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with PHILIPS MMS430 mid range, it's good and the highs are clean with very little distortion. And the sub?? Man...with 30Watts...you'll have all the bass you need and even more!
The characteristic of the bass is deep and thundering, making my furniture rattle when I pump up the volume.

Very powerful and high quality sound, and it's dirt cheap.

First Off, Computer Speakers are not Supposed to sound this good!!!! I am Overwhelmed at how well they produce sound. Let me say, I?m not a big fan Of Philips Products, but these Baby?s sound so Delicious, it's Ridiculous. The Satellites and Subwoofer work in Harmony. That said, Placement of the Sub, is very Important. Not in the right place and all you will get is muddy boring sound, but find that sweet spot, and you won't dispute at how Awesome they really are. Most, if not all, computer speakers just don't have that "it" factor when it comes to sound, but after I heard these, I was instantly ready to buy a set. [...]
