I waited months for the new dvr consumer electronics drives to become widely available. I needed to replace the hard drive in my ReplayTV 5160 that had failed. I made the mistake of purchasing another manufacturer's dvr drive only to find it would not work at all. I purchased this drive and was not disappointed. Within minutes the upgrade procedure was completed and my ReplayTV was up and running flawlessly. There have been no problems at all and with the huge capacity of this drive, I am able to record in higher quality.

I used this massive drive as a replacement for my stock 40 GB ReplayTV drive. (Almost twenty times as much storage) It worked perfectly the first time, right out of the box. I now have ~250 hours of ultra high quality storage available, instead of 13... :-)[...]

Bought this product to replace existing drive in a DriecTV HR10-250 DVR. Went in like a champ, and is quiet as a mouse.
