I use this to switch between my PC desktop and my Mac book pro on a 24in monitor running 1920x1200. Works right out of the box, but you may need an extra add on component called the DVI Detective which tricks the machine into thinking the monitor is still connected when you switch between devices. When I contacted Gefen, they gave me a coupon for half off each one, but it's still an extra [$] with shipping that I had to spend to get this to work as expected. It would be nice if the DVI Detective functionality was built right into the KVM.
