I bought the scanner to scan some of my larger format books. It only helped a little since I couldn't rotate the image in the scan mode to accomodate dual page scanning. If I had known that I probably wouldn't have invested in it.
The Fine Reader OCR software is great though.

The scanner was an excellent deal, however after installing the drivers, my computer has begun to randomly crash it's internet browsers. The scanner itself works wonderfully but its installation has caused major detriment to my system.
