I use this product to record my local band at my house as well as for personal use. I previously had the Presonus Firebox and was surprised that the preamps on the Firepod sounded a little better. It is pretty easy to use but still can be used to make almost as good of a recording as any home studio with the right equipment. My horrible squier guitar actually sounds decent direct in with no amp modeling. This is definitely worth the price.
