This ribbon microphone allows a distinctly different, much warmer vocal sound to come through. When I rehearse with this Nady microphone, I very much enjoy the warm, old-style although very clear sound that it conveys to the listener.

I have been recording by myself and with friends for about 5 years now. I have been wanting a ribbon mic for a long time and decided to get this one due to reviews and price. I was more than suprised at how responsive and accurate the sound replication was.. I have used it for open room recording, guitar cab recording and overhead drum recording: all have sounded spectacular.
Gain on preamp has to be all the way up, but, that doesnt bother me because the sound is phenomenal, especially for the price.
