This is my first portable PA system and so far it serves its purpose. I used it once for our church's baptism fellowship at our backyard pool and sounded great with an electric guitar. It is just a little heavy, but as far as sound is concerned, this is an excellent PA for the price I paid.

The Nady RPA-4 is like the Goldilocks version of a PA system for anyone who's interested in a small PA, either at the starter level, or for small-venue gigs. In fact, I found the RPA-2 and RPA-6 cumbersome in concept, as the RPA-2 was too light in inputs/wattage, and the RPA-6 didn't have enough wattage to handle 6 inputs anyway. Like I said, the RPA-4 is just right, in terms of convenience, portability, sound, usability, features etc. Haven't had it long enough to report on reliability, but it looks rugged enough. If I had to gripe about anything, I wish the power switch was up near the mixer controls, but that could just me being too lazy to bend down.
