We have five piece Jazz and Blues Band. We bought two to use as stage monitors. So far we like it - it does the job. Hey they ain't Yamaha or a Bose, but it all works well and for less than half the price. We daisy chain them to our main PA - also a Fender System (That does have Bose speakers built in) They are very compatible. Plus they are very compact for the amount of power. We like that we adjust the individual amplifiers - they have more power than we will ever need.

My Jazz & Blues Band uses it as a stage montor. It is compact and very portable, integrating well with our present PA. So far the guys like it enough to have decided to buy another ASAP to daisy chain with the first on the stage. It may not be as refined as a Yamaha, etc., but it does the job to our ears at half the price and size.

I needed light weight monitor speakers for our city sound system. These are perfect. They are easy to store because they are small and easy to carry. They also deliver the sound needed for the performers.

    Comments about Fender Fender 1270p Artist 10" 2-way Stage/performance Monitor With 100 Watt Built-in Amplifier /ea:

I use this little powerhouse for everything from keyboard monitor to mini PA for rehearsing vocalists to an instrumental track. It's extremely light and the handle is conveniently placed. The grille is strong enough that you don't have to worry about putting it in the trunk of a car. It provides a surprisingly full and accurate frequency range, and enough power that I rarely have to turn the nob past 1/3 rotation. The inputs cover any device you'd want to connect and you can daisy chain it with other speakers. The only lack is it won't play more than one source at a time. But this is designed to be a monitor. That it does other things well is gravy. Well worth the price!!!
