Ultimate stands are the best you can buy. Sure they are expensive, but in my experience they pay for themselves in the long run. I have purchased many speaker & lighting stands in the last 10+ years and no other brand even compares. The plastic parts don't break, the rubber feet don't come off the legs, the aluminun frame stays intact. The very first pair of Ultimate stands I purchased 11 years ago are still being used on a weekly basis.
