It's a great starter package. It's not that great for scratching tho. As far as mixing is concerner-it suffices!
I have had to add dimes to the top of the cartridges, the original weight didn't suffice. When attempting to scratch or cueing backwards, the needle would jump grooves

I don't really have that much bad to say. Maybe bcuz this is my first system and I don't have much to compare with. But, for someone inexperienced-it's a steal. Why start with something more expensive? It has all the features needed to dj out the box. All you'll need is the output rca cables and an amp/monitors. I'll upgrade in a year.
