    This turntable is just the thing for recording your 45s and albums, it's not expensive and it has just what you need, I just finished recording, about 150 45s, hard working little machine it gets a 10 for simplicity, and a 11 for quality.

    Great replacement for a simple record playing machine. My old Panasonic just wasn't cutting it anymore. Plus, this one is pre-amped, so I can plug directly into the PC to rip my songs.

    The Audio Technica PL50 I purchased is a reliable, basic turntable. It fit my needs exactly. I have been recording all of my album collection onto my Hard Drive and the built in Phono preamp of the PL50 eliminated a link in the connection to my sound card.

    The performance of the turntable has been error free. Surprisingly low noise for such a low cost turntable.

    It is not a good choice if you are an extreme audiophile, but it is a great choice for utilitarian use such as transferring your album collection to CD.
