Comments about Numark Numark Pt01 Portable Turntable:
A friend of mine has a Numark PT01,he uses it,as many others do,to audition old vinyl at record or thrift shops,before he buys them.The unit being battery powered,is ideal for this purpose.Keep in mind,this unit doesnt have the level of tonearm,stylus or cartridge performance of a regular component turntable,but it does what it does very well.Numark is a brand normally associated with DJ'ing,but you dont have to be a DJ to use one,it works just like a normal phonograph.In fact,I`ve even seen these recommended over those awful crosley phonographs for people that just wanna dig out their old vinyl for nostalgia`s sake,and the Numark is cheaper and more durable.
