i recently purchased a viper 791xv with some goodies, and two of these things were part of the goodies. i also got a motion detector and other stuff, but these are awesome. i mounted one inside the dash right above wehre my headunit is by the air vents and another one in the trunk where my subs are. they are loud as heck and will definately be a turn off to any walk by theif. of course, if someone wants your stuff they are goign to get it without a doubt, but the majority of theives just hear someone bumping in the parking lot at the mall and when the people go in go and jump their car. so if they go up and bust my window out and their ears start to bleed they probably wont want to go any further, so now i can feel safer that the chance of them getting my stuff is slim to none compared to before without an alarm. get it.
