I've been looking for something that is able to be used for physical activity as well as leisure. Aside from the great sound it produces, what's best about it is it's toughness and durability. The cover for wiring is thick and made out of nylon which makes it more durable and rugged. It's perfect to be used in the gym or during sports activities. I've had several other in-ear type headphones from Sony and Panasonic where the wire is just real thin and made out of a rubber covering. Over a period time when you repeatedly sweat during physical activity, the sweat can cause the rubber wiring to become fragile and soft and eventually tear. I've had to replace several headphones because of this. Not with the Rivet though, very durable and is immune to your sweating during exercise. It's the only one I've seen designed like this. It's also perfect anywhere not just during exercise and the sound quality is as good or better than the other's I've tried in the same price range.
