I didn’t know much about the night vision and didn’t expect the infrared sensors to glow red in the dark. I had hoped for the camera to be “invisible” at night to catch vandals egging my house but it may well end up just being a deterrent instead. I’ve had some issues with interference with either my wireless router or cordless phones. I ended up placing the receiver in my up stairs back bedroom away from other electronic devices and it seems to work pretty well now. I do have to play around with the angle of the receiver to cut down the interference but managed to get it to work. Outside of the interference the picture quality is very good in light and the night vision does ok within the recommended 10 foot range.

In this day and age home security is ever more pressing. I bought one SVAT Color camera and liked it so well that I bought two more to complete my personal home security system.
I have mounted the camera's onto "First Alert" Rotating Camera Platforms. This way I can remotely scan up to a 360 degrees. This gives me approx. 400% to 500% more viewing around my house. I would recommend this product to any one who wants an inexpensive survalance of thier home.
