This is a pretty nice quality mixer for the price. The Sampler is better than I expected, the crossfader is unbelievably smooth, and the equalizer is great for that perfect sound. However, when I bought the mixer I was under the impression that the EQ on each side would control whichever channels were selected on the crossfader. This is not the case. The Equalizer on the left and right side control the left and right channels of the main volume, not individual channels. So in short, there is NO EQ's FOR EACH CHANNEL, which makes smooth mixing extremely diffecult. I had a pretty crappy mixer before this, but the one positive to my old mixer is that it had a 3 band EQ for each channel with kill switches. This mixer does not, which is suprising. All in all, a good mixer, but shop around and you may find something that better suits your mixing needs. Without the EQ's on each channel, this is a better mixer if your style is cutting, but if your a trance or house DJ, or even a DnB DJ who likes to mix tracks with lots of bass, you might want to shop around!
