Makes adding an after market head unit easy. Unfortunately it adds a lot of noise and induces subtle volume fluctuations.

I never give bad reviews... but I had to this time. I am already sending my second one back to the manufacturer. First one was extremely noisy. Second was a bit better (and I mean a bit), but I had to tinker with it to make it work. On the last one the quality was horrible. First of all the board was inserted poorly in the case so the wholes did not match, second, when I plugged it in 3 wires came loose. Just a pain. Although the manufacturer claim that it works with Toyota Corolla 2005, I am starting having doubts. Maybe it works great on other models, but I am having a horrible time with it.
