I bought 5, one for every room. Big disappointment. The batteries start to get weak within a few days and completely wear out within a couple of weeks. I tried the 9V plug and it doesn't work, so I am constantly changing batteries. But the worst part of all is the foggy screen. About a month or so after I purchased them, ALL of them began to fog up like foggy car windows on the inside of the plastic screen. Looking through the foggy screen at numbers that are dull to begin with makes it a poor choice. I would not recommend this model.

Seems to identify and record calls correctly but the screen is not backlighted as the product picture indicates and as a result it is extremely difficult to view the messages from even a foot or two away.
