Matches PS3 design, and the USB dongle is very unobtrusive. Though it takes 1 of the 2 USB ports on the 40GB model, the other port can be used with a USB hub. I don't need the power button, because I normally walk to the PS3 to remove the disc before turning off. Used my Harmony remote to learn the remote's functions, so that I am now back to one IR remote for all my gear.

Overall it's a good product, I purchased it with the sole intention of having control of the Blu-Ray playback using my Logitech Harmony Remote Control.
It works well after programming it into my remote control, however there is no way to turn the PS3 on or off whether you use the remote that comes with the unit or a universal it simply does not have the power toggle functionality.
It's not a total removal of the PS3 Batarang, but mostly you can do without it by turning the PS3 on or off physically on the console.

I bought this remote in order to allow control of my PS3 with my Harmony 880 Universal remote control while I am watching Blu Ray movies. For that purpose it basically works. The only complaint I have is that there is no power button and no eject button. This isn't so bad because you have to walk to the machine to put the movie in the player anyway. If you are hard core about having only one remote control for all of your machines (the reason for buying a universal remote control) and you have a PS3, you should buy this device.
