I bought this item while on vacation in Canada for only [$]. I liked the digital tuner and mine came with headphones and batteries. Also, I like the fact that you can wake up to this radio, although only to the radio and not a tone alarm. Make sure you have a strong station to wake you up otherwise if the station doesn't come in good enough you might not wake up. The batteries that came with the unit only lasted about two months but I have had much better luck with some name brand batteries. The digital tuner is very touchy and you have to turn the dial slowly or you will overshoot your intended station. Also, there is not lock switch so while transporting this radio it may turn itself on. I just like the overall small design, clock, alarm and uniqueness of a tiny gadget like this. You don't see many radios around like this. To sum it up, it is a [$] well spent and the radio does get fairly loud and there are many features packed into it. But the lack of a power lock switch, overly sensitive dial and lack of wake up bell-type of alarm cost this item a few stars although I don't regret this purchase and all and it comes with us on all of our trips and vacations.
Compact travel radio with many features. Average reception.
