I needed something for when I was camping and traveling and this is the perfect boom box! Loud enough to hear over car engines and camp noise.

I purchased the Jwin Jxc-d472 Cd/mp3 Player/recorder for my 87 year-old mother. I chose it specifically for its simple design and function. It is very easy to operate, and with the the tape player/CD player capability, she can enjoy her music in both formats. I also chose it for the mp3 playback, which requires no button selection or switches to make. With an mp3 disc of her favorite music, all she has to do is put in the CD and she can listen to hours of music without having to change discs. The controls are logically placed and marked well enough for her to navigate from tape to CD to Radio function without a problem. My mother is in no way techno-savvy, so the easier the operation the better. Other players had too many bells and whistles that she did not understand.

After listening for just a few seconds, she remarked at the fine tone it produced, and has been very happy to have music playing in her apartment nonstop!
