Very comfortable for hours long wearing, however for travel, they don't block out the jet noise on an airliner. I think because the jet noise reverberates inside the hollow plastic housing of the ear-cups. It might seem even a little louder on the plane. More expensive headphones have foam filling. For the price, these are great home audio or videomaker's headphones.

there is no nice foam padding where they touch the top of your head if your bald and they aren't the best sounding headphones BUT for the price......can't complain at all... i think they will last a long time .They do fit your head well and comfortrable for hours of use...which you might think was a given but alot of headphones seem to be constructed for a Jay Leno sized head . i found earbuds and expensive headphones often times the little wires will get tangled or the buds will hurt your ears or the biggger headphones kill batteries and will fall of your head if you try to dance or jog..these are great for a walkman.they say they are "digital" not sure if that means much but it may make them good for an ipod?? ..i know the cord is larger than most and really well constructed looks like you could coil it up a 1,000 times and it would still be the same...unlike most
the volume nobs for left and right are very rare nowdays on unpowered headphones and would be valuable for certain applications and if you have no need for them set them the way you want and never worry about them again..
for the price they deliver..they are comfortrable and sound good for such an inexpensive headphone..
