Airy detail and deep base- who would have thought it was possible! A little too much ambient noise for the wife but I love them!

I bought these headphones to replace studio monitors in my new loft (cant have the cops knocking everytime I cut a track).
They plug straight into my Pro-Tools rig with the 1/4 jack and right off the bat you'll notice that the pads are open-eared.
It's a bit discerning at first because you can hear everything as if there were no headphones on. But as soon as you start the sound you immediately realize what these headphones are for.

They really do sound very similar to a decent pair of Monitors, they circum-aural design is pretty impressive when you hear it for the first time.

Great range, good tonal quality, these are perfect for a portable rig, Pro-tools MBox users, that hook up to a laptop should seriously consider checking these out.

I haven't really had a chance to run these babies through the gauntlet but I'm not worried. From what I've heard so far I'm sure they will do exactly what I hoped they would.

They're a bit tight and I sometimes wonder about the ambient noise but so far I haven't had any problems at all.
