I bought this MP3 player for my daughter, who is very pleased with it. The capacity is great and she finds it fairly easy to operate. My only complaint is that like many (but not all) mp3 players you have to use their software to transfer music files. With my Archos Gmini 400, the computer treats it as an external hard drive, allowing you to drag and drop files. I prefer the non-proprietary approach used by Archos. That aside, the Toshiba seems to be a fine MP3 player.

as for the product, it's amazing. it came in the brand new retail box, and it's the best price you will ever get for this 40 gb gigabeat, so I say go ahead and order one or two.
