I was somewhat skeptical of this small speaker system, but it is awesome! It's small enough to be portable, but very powerful! It charges my ipod quickly. The only thing is, I think the optional subwoofer would really make it sound even better. I'm very happy with my purchase!
i say that it has similar audio quality to single unit speaker systems that cost nearly 5 times as much. The simulated surround effect really works to fill the room with sound

I bought the original model (5.0) almost two years ago. I liked the cool (and unusual) design but the sound was amazing. We just picked up the 330 for my daughter who lives for her iPod. Very cool, same design, the remote is a nice add-on as is the blue "on" light. I like that its iPod dock accommodates any unit because we own the full gamut of iPods. I also like that we can hook it up to our TV with the s-video cable. The sound, of course, is unmatched by comparable Bose, Altec and Logitech units. What will Jensen come up with next? I can't wait. My other daughter wants a new iPod!

What a great addition to my ipod video. The sound is very clear and not distored. The added subwoofer definitely makes a difference. The best part though, is the S video connection on the back of the dock which allows you to watch your ipod videos on your own tv!It looks especially great on my Samsung 40" LCD. No more waiting for the dvd to come in the mail. I can download a vid on my laptop and be watching it full screen on my tv within minutes. Thats pretty awesome. The low price is also a plus.

really a great buy
it is ready to go right out of the box with no wires or anything else to set up.
The sound is great, it has a great balance of treble, midrange and even the lows. The surround sound effect really kicks in at about a distance of 4-5 feet. I have the speakers also hooked up to my home theater system and the surround sound is great for movies. It goes far beyond its "made for ipod" description although it does work well for that. The cradle charges the ipod and ipod nano and can be controlled by the included remote.
great sound from a compact unit
I originally bought this product for its compact size and radical looks but the sound it delivers is suprisingly good. It can get really loud while maintaing great audio clarity. I use it connected to my computer but also occasionaly have my friends connect their ipods to it. Both sound great

I received my Banshee JISS-550 and haven't stopped enjoying it . The sound is fantastic, came with all hook-ups(cables) needed to start using with both my IPOD'S and my portable XM receivers. The bass and sound is fantastic sounds like a full stereo system with remote control and all... definitely recommend this product.
