I got the product quickly and was surprised to find that it actually did install easily and required no special skills.

The item works as advertised, required no modification to my vehicle and is well-designed and not an eyesore. Hitch lock prevents it from being stolen.

I suggest that a cigarette lighter adapter be purchased (easily available online) so that the back-up receiver can be installed in the existing outlet and still allow connection of cell phone and other devices simultaneously.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. It took 10 minutes to install in the hitch on a 2005 Tundra pickup. It gives me confidence when backing up. I've had it for 2 months with no problems.

This is a no brainer. The unit costs less then $200 and the bare minumum damange in a rear end accident is $400. You make the call.

Works very well from corner bumper to corner bumper most of the time. Occassional false readings I believe are primarily due to the spare tire (Hummer H2 SUT). Plugs into the hitch 7 pin connector and has a wireless detector that plugs into any cig adapter. Easy setup. Great option for trucks.
