    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    This adapter supports my Garmin Nuvi 1300 just fine as I drive around cities and interstate highways. However, when using this adapter off-road (4WD trails) the vibrations will shake it loose and disconnect power. This is not a defect in the design, it is simply due to the fact that you are supporting your navigation system in a tiny cigarette lighter socket. It is a quality product that works great on regular roads. I strongly recommend it.
