i bought a set of these dv64 speakers to act as my side speakers in my 7.1 system. i already had a set of dv 84s that i have been very impressed with for over 2 years. and i also had other bic componets, center channel, rear channels. this made the set complete. had a set of polk audio bookshelf speakers that the dv 64s replaced,there was a world of difference. plus, matching speaker brands usually sound better than mixed systems.
