Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Just and awesome sounding set of speakers and for a good price that won't break the budget. They have great low, mid and high freq response. They perform well in HT and Audiophile setups. I use mine as home theater, video games, sporting events and listening to music. They're just great all purpose speakers.
