We have used this oven nearly every day for the past 5 years and it has performed perfectly. Last week the broiler wouldn't turn off unless we pulled the plug from the socket so it's time to either buy a new one or see whether B&D makes repairs. Our other toaster ovens pale in comparison so I will try hard to replace it. We especially liked reheating foods. broiling, making toast, and baking small quantities. The only drawback was the amount of room inside--we would have liked another inch on both sides.

This is the first appliance that has really let me down. The bottom coil never did heat up enough to toast the underside of a piece of bread. After about 6 months, the whole machine began to turn off as soon as it was turned on, except the BROIL setting. The only thing I liked about it was the front removal of the crumb tray. That was it. I just had to put the oven in the trash. It was taking up too much counter space just for a broil feature that I had to watch like a sick child. DO NOT BUY.
