I have a very long cable run from my service provider and this amplifier helps a lot. The bi-directional feature does not interfere with my internet connectivity.

Excellent bi-directional ...

Excellent bi-directional amplifier. Works with my cable i/o box (does not block the internal cable modem from communicating back to cablevision) and amplifies the signal sufficiently to account for all the down-line splitters and cable length. After installing all my TVs have excellent pictures with no snow, hash lines or moving bars. Excellent buy!
