I needed to extend Component video from my source downstairs to my 40" Sony HD LCD upstairs. I used two 100ft Cat 6 cables (the specs call for Cat 5, but with such little price difference I just use the Cat 6). I cannot tell the difference in the picture between the direct source and the Ce Labs signal, when comparing a 1080i program. Audio comes in fine as well. The loop-thru has no degradation when connected to my downstairs HD TV with standard component cables.
