We use the product in a laboratory to conserve bench space. Thanks to this product, we now have the monitor and keyboard on the wall adjacent to the scientific equipment it controls. This is much easier/ergonomically friendly for the user/operator. We have multiple users of several different heights that use the equipment, so the level adjustment properties of this unit are a real plus. Not to mention that the wall mounting unit looks much nicer than a keyboard/monitor crammed in a tiny corner in a constant state of disarray. The wall-mount unit is in a high traffic area of the lab (people walk by constantly). However, when the unit is not in use, the keyboard folds up and is nearly flat against the wall and unnoticeable. The unit is discontinued, so it is an opportunity to purchase a quality [$] wall mount for a fraction of the price. Don't be intimidated by the hardware installation. All parts necessary for installation are provided, as long as you avoid anchoring to studs. It was surprisingly easy to install with detailed/simple instructions, but it does take time. Great buy and great product.Cons: The only con I can think of is that the wall-mount is a permanent fixture and that when you take it down, there will be 4 large holes in the wall.
