Customers have the freedom to use their choice of RocketRAID host adapter and storage device; SATA SSD's for performance or large hard disks for maximum capacity, from all major drive brands including HGST, Seagate, Toshiba and WDC.

The enclosure features built in LED's and an audible alarm that quickly notify administrators in the case of hardware failure or environmental warning such as power loss or overheating.

The stylish, high-quality brushed aluminum chassis features smart and quiet cooling fans, an efficient internal power supply, and a compact form-factor that is ideal for portable applications. The external 6Gb/s Mini-SAS port and four removable hot-swap bays support any 2.5" or 3.5" Enterprise / NAS class SATA / SAS Hard Drive or SSD.
