Have used this product for six and a half years, since our son was diagnosed with allergies. Has always been used in his room and we've never had a problem at all. We update about every two years as our personal peference. We are used to having the noise and couldn't sleep without it now, even when our sons away we turn on the Hepa filter. I work midnights and use it during the day to block out noise, so I can sleep. An awesome product.
