Description

The Infinity Primus P362 pumps out full, dynamic sound with clarity and detail, no matter what your listening preferences are. Music fans will appreciate the P362's smooth, natural response, and movie buffs will love its lively home theater performance. And if you're a gamer, you'll enjoy the added punch and excitement the P362 adds to your favorite video games. This speaker's slim cabinet houses a 3/4" tweeter for crisp highs, a 4" driver for accurate reproduction of vocals and other midrange sounds, plus two 6-1/2" woofers for deep, resounding bass. All the drivers work together to create rich, room-filling sound across the audible range. The key to this speaker's performance is Infinity's proprietary Metal Matrix Diaphragm" speaker material. This material is based on a stiff aluminum core which adds rigidity to the drivers. This allows the speaker to reproduce clear sound, even when you turn it up loud and the high sensitivity rating means you won't kill your amp in the process.Recommended center channel: Infinity Primus PC350.Recommended surround speakers: Infinity Primus P162.Details:

The P362s are the slight upgrade to the [...]recommended P360s.These things are amazing for the price. They retail at [...]each, and you can't get better sound for that price. Especially here on [...], where they're [...] each. Great deal.I needed a pair of budget speakers because my old speakers blew one of their woofers, so instead of just replacing it I decided to try for an upgrade (had a pair of JBLs that cost me about [...]total).I did a lot of research into budget speakers, and found that these were highly recommended by lots of well respected mags as a good pair of speakers for the extremely low price (compared to the typical [...] price of "audiophile" speakers). They are massive though, so make sure you don't mind a pair of behemoth black monsters sitting in your room. I was worried my wife would have a problem, but they actually fit in pretty well w/ our room. The grills are the same color as the television - silver. I'd recommend making sure your significant other doesn't mind the size and look of these. The bass is amazing on these speakers. My couch shook while watching a scene off of "Babel". And I wasn't just bumping up the bass. They're rated to 38Hz, whereas your typical monitor goes to 50Hz.I was a bit worried my amp wouldn't cut it, it's about 30-45 watts/channel. However they're working fine at about 30-50% volume for a not so big room. A good set of amps is my next upgrade..Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the size and look.
