Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I am overall very impressed with this purchase... large, bright screen, very nice finish to the case. Customization was sacraficed by the manufacturer for easy-set-up, but the initial setup was without a hitch (even for the obscure buttons on some of my more unusual components). In fact, my only wish is that the EXCELLENT online setup utility allowed you to remove/reorder the preselected soft buttons.
