The Logitech Harmony 1000 Advanced Universal Touch Screen Remote completes my home theater system. I have over five seperate components with five different remotes, now with the Harmony 1000 I only need one! It only took me one half hour to set up and the remote was fully customizable to fit my home theater needs. It's compatability is unparalled with any other universal remote I've experienced. What a fantastic product!

Great system marred by firmware bugs that cause it to lockup frequently. Supposed to be fixed in the next firmware release in late October, according to Logitech. Of course, the current firmware release was supposed to fix the issues. Would give it 4.5 - 5 stars if they fixed the lockup issues.

Easy to configure, intuitive, very functional. My wife hated juggling multiple remotes in the media room and this simplifies everything for her (and me). The only dislike is not being able to customize the touchscreen buttons to a greater degree.

When placing on charger, while screen is active, a high pitch whine can be heard until the screen turns off. Also, on very limited occasions, has just stopped functioning w/ cable box. Was easy enough to fix, just had to choose appropriate "Activity" again & functionality was restored. Signal strength could be a little bit stronger.

Previously had the top of the line Logitech Harmony device. This is what it should have been to begin with. The "skinny" Hamony devices are too small for big fingers and hands. This one is just right.
