Shock-wav 1w 802.11bg indoor wi-fi signal booster power over ethernet (poe) only increase wi fi signal range by 400%! this low-noise bidirectional amplifier increases the power range and clarity of your wi-fi signal. Just as a stereo amplifier increases how far away a sound can be heard the luxul signal booster increases the volume of the wi-fi signal increasing the range of standard wireless access points and routers by 400%! most wireless access points (wap?s) put out around 70mw of power. The luxul booster brings that power up to a staggering 1 000mw over 10 times the power! the boost in power drastically improves the signal range. A loud signal isn?t enough however the signal must be clear in order for high connection speeds to be maintained. Luxul signal boosters have unique digital automatic gain control (d-agc) technology that offers the cleanest signal possible. The result is incredible wi-fi range and blazing-fast data rates. Lastly the luxul boosters pack 15db of receive gain. This receive gain allows the weak signals of client devices (laptops pda?s) to be pulled in ensuring connectivity at the longest range. Conversation range is determined not only by how far you can shout but how far you can listen. This amplifier is not a stand-alone device. It must be connected to a wireless access point (wap) or router. You will remove your wap?s stock antenna and using a luxul cable such as cab-195-12un connect the signal booster to the wap or router. It is not recommended that the wap?s stock antenna be used. Luxul?s antennas offer much more power and performance and are designed to work with luxul boosters. (ieee 802.3af/at and legacy poe compliant). Works with any af/at compliant poe injector (injector sold separately). Poe is only power option.

The Shock-WAV SWA-24I-1000G indoor Signal Booster can be powered using either a direct AC-DC power supply (included) or a Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) injector (not included). POE offers significant installation flexibility by allowing up to 328 feet (100 meters) of distance between the amplifier and the power source. The Shock-WAV indoor Signal Booster also allows for one additional POE-enabled device (i.e. a Wireless Access Point) to be powered using the same POE injector.
