I use this to hang a pair of 16lb speakers from my ceiling. The mounts do the trick and were pretty easy to install. I would have liked a better set of screws to install into the ceiling though. One screw was about 3" long; and the other was only 1/2" long; so i had to go get screws elsewhere to be able to mount into a stud. The bolts that i used to mount the speaker to it were also too short. Other than that; it does what it is supposed to do; and you can position your speaker however you want. Pretty good product.
