This awesome mount does everything you would want it to. It assembles easily and quickly. However, the instructions could use more description instead of relying on pictures and one clear parts list would be helpful. Exposed mounting bolts are unattractive and could easily be fixed with some plastic caps to snap over them. The holes for the electrical recepts could be closer together. Altogether it is still a great mount and very versitle but I wouldn't recommend a beginner to try and put up this mount on their own.

Overall, great product and stylish design. This is the best wall mount bar none and I researched this for weeks. [...] For the product, this is a high end product intended for high end TVs. I got a high end 40' Sony LCD and this mount was perfect. I particularly wanted a cantilever arm mount to allow the TV move in and out and angle more than the standard fixed mounts do and this is the best product out there! Its solidly built but the installation instructions are not the easiest to follow and not at all intuitive so you need to take your time. I opted for the black version to compliment my black bezeled TV -(not sure why anyone would want the chrome version). With black, the mount melts into the wall behind the TV. I highly recommend this product. Be warned though, with a wall mount like this you will want a clean look so you need to think of using a RF transmitter type remote (vs using the IR type you now have) so that you can hide your cable/sat/ stereo device boxes away behind the wall or in a diff room. I used a product called the Invisible Multi-Room Remote Extender Frequency 433 (LRRX) manufactured by Next Generation Home Products. What a great idea - it converts your current cliker into a RF clicker!! That completes this design. Good luck.

A lot of extra bolts and accessories came with the mount to allow it to be used on various TV's. Instruction could be better, but it was pretty easy to figure it out by just looking at the mount and the pictures.
